Transparency & Governance
Trust is earned through transparency. Every donation is treated as a trust.
Six pillars of accountability
Independent oversight
Annual external audits by a registered chartered accountancy firm.
Published financials
Audited financial statements published in full each year.
Annual report
Programmatic and financial reporting in a public annual report.
Code of ethics
Conflict-of-interest, procurement and anti-bribery policies.
Donation tracking
Every restricted donation tracked to its programme of intent.
Shariah compliance
Independent Shariah Board review for Zakat funds.
How the Foundation is run.
The Foundation operates under a board of trustees with an independent audit committee, executive leadership accountable to the board, and external auditors appointed annually.
- ✓Board of Trustees — strategy, oversight, executive appointments
- ✓Audit & Risk Committee — independent of executive management
- ✓Shariah Advisory Board — for Zakat-eligible programmes
- ✓Executive Director — day-to-day management, reports to the Board
- ✓External Auditors — appointed annually by the Board
"Trust is earned by what is published, audited, and independently verified — not by what is claimed. We are building this foundation around the belief that donors deserve to see every rupee."
